MSI come up with more specs for the Wind U160MX

MSI have just come up with further details on the Wind U160MX, the machine was shown off a few weeks ago, but we now have more detailed specs and to be honest this is an impressive machine even though we do not know how much it is going to cost us yet!

These are some of the main specifications for the MSI Wind U160MX it will have ten inches of high gloss LED backlit display with 1024 × 600 pixel resolution which is the standard netbook display these days. MSI Wind U270 with AMD Fusion

It has only been a matter a weeks since the first sight of the new AMD Fusion platform and already it is appearing on the spec list of many new laptops. The latest one being the MSI Wind U270, this is a twelve inch laptop offering the consumer a laptop running the latest AMD landmark dual core E-350 processor and with graphics produced through the AMD Radeon HD 6310 Discrete-Class Graphics chip.

MSI Wind U115 launched in Japan

Thanks to some clever detective work from the guys over at portablemonkey.com who found that the Japanese retailer sofmap.com are advertising the MSI Wind U115 as being up for release on the 22nd May.

As of yet there are no details on specs or anything else, however there was an idea of how much this machine is going to cost, around $733, which is on the rather expensive side.

Review of the MSI Wind U123

On the face of it, this computer looks really great and has the ability to run on battery power for six and half hours, which all sounds good, but could there be a few minor problems that bring this MSI back down to ground. It would seem so because its shape means that it cannot be placed on the lap comfortably and worst of would be the fact that if you upgrade anything inside, then your warranty is voided, now that it is something to think about.

Netbook Hack – Install OSX on an MSI Wind

Slash Gear has a post on a hack that allows you to get an MSI Wind fully operational with OSX. This little hack makes the Wind the cheapest Mac out there, and with Apple still on the fence about their netbook plans, you might want to scoop up a Wind and get OSX-ing.

This looks like a pretty simple, straightforward hack.
