Panansonic’s new Toughbook 30 is now available, probably one of the most rugged laptops ever built.
The Panasonic Toughbook 30 features an Intel Core 2 Duo 7500/ 1.6Ghz Centrino Duo, 1 gig of RAM, 80 gigs of harddrive, WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and option for Vista Business or XP Pro.
The counter-intuitive little brother to the Lenovo Thinkpad SL300, the Thinkpad SL400 offers some solid specs, but it might not be worth the trouble required to bring this $600 laptop up to snuff, and up to price, at slightly above $1000.
