It may not be much but the Dell 1410 is a fairly user friendly machine and because of this there are millions of sales each year. To this end the company has decided to offer some upgrades to the 1410, they may not be anything special when compared to other machines that are available but never the less getting something extra is always a great thing, isn’t it?
Anyone expecting this to be a mini laptop will disappointed, as this is a full screen 15.6 inch screen size laptop that offers a reasonable amount memory and RAM. As well as the usual amount of features that you would expect from a new machine.
The most famous laptop produced by Panasonic is the Toughbook range of computers, but this latest addition to the range is slightly different and more easier on the eye than the Toughbook series, although the casing has been made from durable magnesium alloy case making it drop and spill resistant, which always a good idea.
Finally, it has come an Asus Eee PC complete Wi-Fi connectivity; this is the one that many Asus fans have been waiting for. Nevertheless, how good is it? Feature wise it has everything that you would expect from an Asus and a little bit more, it has gone on sale in the home territory of Taiwan, but how long we will have to wait is not known, although there is word that they could be appearing in Europe soon.
The IdeaPad Y650 is a sixteen inch laptop from Lenovo, which is supposed to be one of the lightest and thinnest notebooks on the market in this sector. With a high spec this computer can compete with the best of them and win. There are three versions all of which can be customised if bought from new.
This netbook was first released in November of last year but this was a machine that came out in black, but this is the evolved edition and naturally, this is going to be in white as it is. This cool looking machine is only available in Japan; will it ever leave their shores? That is anyone’s guess!
There have been rumours for some time that Samsung would be bringing out a Black NC10 with a larger touchpad, well the rumours appear to right and the Samsung NC10 special edition has arrived in the US, but it would appear to be only available at Amazon, which is a bit of a bonus for them.
It was only last week when Acer released details of their latest addition to the netbook range and now they have come up with the real thing as the Aspire One D150 went on display and will go on sale by the 20th February.
Acer have announced that they will be launching their ten inch Aspire One model in the UK, this will be supplied with a six cell battery which Acer claim will last for anything up to seven hours, which is cool. The 160 Gb hard drive is just about enough to cope with and the DDR memory can be anything up to 2 Gb.
The CES 2009 will see a new Sony Vaio P series, there are only a few images and no specs yet, but what would but what would we expect to find from a top Japanese company that have probably spent a whole lot of cash on the CES.
