The electronics giant Toshiba has released details of these cool laptops; these are the 13.3-inch Portégé R830, the 14-inch Tecra R840 and the 15.6-inch Tecra R850. The Japanese based laptop maker Toshiba have released two new laptops the Satellite P770 3D and the Satellite P775 3D. Both of these machines are 3D Ready and use the 3D 120Hz 18.4 inch high definition TruBrite LCD displays and although these are not the first 3D laptops from Toshiba they mark another step forward in the development of this technology. Toshiba recalls Sandy Bridge laptops

As a manufacturer of processors, the very last thing that you need is a product recall because of a fault in the processor, but this is what is facing Intel following the decision by laptop maker Toshiba to recall some of its laptops. The problem seems to be with latest Intel Core Sandy Bridge processor where a fault has been found in the six series Cougar Point chips. These are the current laptops affected by the Sandy Bridge issue; Satellite A660/ A665, L655, and M645 series models, the Satellite E305-S1990, Toshiba Portege R835 laptops, Qosmio X505 series systems and the Qosmio X500-Q930 model. Toshiba create colour changing laptop case

There was a time when black was the only colour for a laptop case and then all that changed with the introduction of metal types casings and then coloured casings. However, Toshiba have come out with a different idea, this is a colour changing case. It will not completely change colour, as it is more like two tone as it alternates through blue to purple. This all new laptop comes with a 15.6 inch display with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution screen, it is powered by a 2.66 GHz Intel Core i5-480M, comes with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and will offer a nice size 750 GB hard drive. The Toshiba NB550D is a new netbook with a ten inch display, running the AMD C 50 Ontario chip at around 1 GHz dual core CPU, with graphics controlled by the Radeon HD 6250 graphics card and very low power consumption of 9W which is great for producing superior graphics. The low power output means that the AMD processor can work as good at the Atom processor from Intel, but when working with the Radeon graphic card this is a netbook that can easily handle DirectX 11 and produce 1080p high definition video. But although the netbook is about to go on sale in the Australian and European markets, it looks as if there may be a long wait before it turns up on the Toshiba US site.
