The Archos 10s up close

The thinner and lighter Archos 10s has appeared in the UK at only 0.86″ thick that is thin and it weighs in at only 2.2 pounds. This machine can actually seen as the J & W Minix 811 this one was put on show the other week at the Computex 2009. As far as the specs go there is little change, in fact the only changes appear to be cosmetic rather than technical.

MacBook gets another rival

This is the VersaPro Ultralite Type VS by NEC; apparently, it is slimmer than the MacBook at just 15.8 mm at the thinnest point. This is surely an attempt by NEC to cash in on the slim and thin laptop market that was created by Apple.

Acer release a trio of laptops

Another group of ultra thin laptops have been released, this time they are from Acer. The Aspire Timeline Super thin mini laptop, we say three models but it actual fact there are three versions of the same model, they just have different sized displays 13.3 inch, 14 inch and 15.6 inch. Looking at these smart looking machines it seems as if they could be giving the completion a run for their money.
