Sony plan a Google Chrome netbook

It is rumoured that Sony are planning to jump onto the Chrome OS bandwagon and that there is even a prototype device in the pipeline, of course we have heard all this before and we should be asking is there any value in the Chrome OS at all anyway!

The netbook could offer the user a 11.6 inch LCD display with a 1366 × 768 of pixel resolution, powered by the Nvidia Tegra 2 (250) platform, graphics from the Ultra-low power GeForce GPU and it is supposed to weigh around 2.2 lb, which is very light indeed.

Sony Prepare for Vaio F Series 3D

No matter what sort of tech you are looking at the concept of 3D eventually enters the frame, this time it is Sony who are joining the party with the launch of the Vaio F 3D series laptop.

Users will still be required to use active shutter glasses in order to view the 3D image, but do not worry at the flick of a switch the 3D can become 2D with no glasses required. Sony making laptops into hotspots

The Japanese based electronics maker Sony are turning their Vaio Z and Y series laptops into mobile hotspots by adding its “Share My Connection” wireless service, it’s not Wi-Fi it’s more like Mi-Fi as it turns the laptop into a mini hotspot allowing up to five other devices to connect to the internet.
