HP has just launched HDX16 and HDX18 series laptops. The HDX16 comes with a 16″ display and lots of power-packed features. The only bad part about HPs is that they come with Vista Premium, which most people will uninstall anyways. Other than that, it looks like a pretty good buy but make sure get HP warranty, I have two 17″ laptops sitting on my desk that just “died” one day. I couldn’t find anything about the HDX18 as the press release went out yesterday but here’s the summary and specs for the HP Pavilion HDX16: Operating system The main control program of your system.
Sony recalls 73,000 VGN TZ series laptops specifically VGN-TZ100 series, VGN TZ200 series, VGN-TZ300 series and VGN-TZ2000 series that can cause burning or fire hazards. When portable devices overheat — and, at the extreme, explode or catch fire — problems are often tied to faulty, cheap battery cells. Some analysts have said that as devices get smaller, their risk of malfunction and overheating increases — and designers today face challenges as consumers demand gadgets to get smaller but more powerful. Sony’s VAIO serves as strong example, since it wasn’t a faulty battery cell but rather an assembly error. via wired a battery cell, battery cells, challenges, consumers demand, designers, fire hazards, fire problems, gadgets, Laptop News, risk, series laptops, sony, Sony Laptops, vaio
a
