The computer maker Pystar who are known for selling their own branded desktop computers that use the Apple operating system are now saying that they are intending to market a range of mini laptops that also use the Apple OS X. This is despite the fact that there is a legal battle going on over the desk top version with Apple. It makes you wonder how these things come about, do Pystar think that they have an agreement with Apple or do are they just taking the OS and using it for themselves. It is a weird situation but Pystar must be sure of themselves otherwise why would they bring out a mini laptop. Source [Portable Monkey] a apple, Apple Laptops, Apple Products, mini laptop, os x, pystar
a

It is amazing how the hackers get the time to do some of their best work, take “DaHarder” who has managed to get a brand new Sony Vaio P and converted to run the Leopard operating system. This may not be all of that impressive as it stands. However, whoever has one of these mini laptops running the OS X effectively has a Mac Book that is small enough to be carried around, but as with many hacks like this is that not all of the applications will work and it is probably going to be the ones that the user wants to use all of time. Source [Uber Gizmo] a 10" Netbooks, hackers, mac book, operating system, os x, Sony Laptops, sony vaio
a

Here’s a really cool DIY on how to run OS X on your Dell Mini 9 Netbook! I guess this would be a cheap way of acquiring a MacBook really. The steps to Leopard-ize the mini are actually quite simple and easy to follow. After you download the slipstreamed ISO and burn the 3.2GB ISO to a DVD you boot up the Dell mini off a external DVD drive (Press 0 (Zero) at the BIOS screen) and installed Leopard as usual. via engadget, DIY Page a 2gb, dell, Dell Laptops, diy, external dvd drive, Laptop DIY, Laptop Fun, Laptop Hack, Laptop News, macbook, netbook, Netbook Reviews, os x
a

For those of you who have bought the Lenovo IdeaPad S10, I am sorry that you bought such a bad laptop but here’s some dissected pics if you want to hack it. When some people get a new computer, the first thing they do is install their favorite applications, tweak the operating system, or even replace Windows with Linux or OS X. Others? They rip it apart to see what’s on the insides. And that’s what Liliputing reader (and co-designer of our logo) Tommy Yoo did with the Lenovo IdeaPad S10. via engadget, source a laptop, Laptop News, Laptop Rumors, Lenovo Laptops, linux, new computer, operating system, os x, yoo
a
