New mini laptop from Mobinnova

Normally we would think that mini laptop is going to have a display of around ten inches. However, this offering from the mobile phone manufacturer Mobinnova is said to be the size of a book, of course books come in all sizes and so the display on this machine is 8.9 inches and weighs in at under two pounds, it’s back to the good old days then! This is a neat machine and is supposed to have a battery that offers between five and ten hours worth of continuous use.

NEC launches two new laptops

These two new mini laptops from NEC are quite strange looking, with a deep square cut body that makes it look a bit bulky, but of course, that is just cosmetic and has no effect on the actual computer itself. The specs are a little thin on the ground at the moment.

The computer maker HP has launched more models to the mini laptop range, they all have a 10.1 inch display with 1024 x 576 pixels and a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, this is basically what all of the 1000 range have.
