The Mobile Web Congress 2011 in Barcelona Spain, has seen some interesting launches and one of those comes from the Japan based firm NEC, they have launched the Lifetouch Note. This netbook comes with a seven inch LED back lit resistive touchscreen with 800 × 480 pixel resolution, powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 250 mobile processor and will be running Goole’s Android 2.2 operating system. The Lifetouch Note weighs just 699 grams which is the around the same as the Apple iPad.
Never to be out done by anyone, NEC have been quietly working away in their design studios on some new laptops, and now that they feel these machines are ready, they have launched the LaVie L, LaVie S, LaVie M and last but definitely not least the LaVie Light.

These two new mini laptops from NEC are quite strange looking, with a deep square cut body that makes it look a bit bulky, but of course, that is just cosmetic and has no effect on the actual computer itself. The specs are a little thin on the ground at the moment.
