It may have been announced at the CeBIT in Hanover but it has taken that long to get to the stage were MSI are able to announce that their version of the slim and light laptop has finally reached the shelves of the stores. The details are a little thin on the ground at the moment, but there will be some coming through soon, hopefully.
The computer maker MSI could be launching a mini laptop that is based on the Google Android operating system, coming from a Chinese news website it looks like they could be showing it off at the Computex 2009 which is being held on the 2nd June.

On the face of it, this computer looks really great and has the ability to run on battery power for six and half hours, which all sounds good, but could there be a few minor problems that bring this MSI back down to ground. It would seem so because its shape means that it cannot be placed on the lap comfortably and worst of would be the fact that if you upgrade anything inside, then your warranty is voided, now that it is something to think about.
MSI have been busy working on three more models and they are pretty cool too, with the U123, U123H and the U123T they are basically the same machine but with some subtle differences like a 3G modem or a TV tuner.

Anyone who wants to go gaming but often find that they are travelling around a lot of the time, will find that they need something a bit more portable, but because this is for gaming the machine is going to have to be a bit more beefy than the average mini laptop. This is where the MSI GX403 comes in, the makers think that this could be the smallest gaming laptop on the market and they could be right.
Mini laptops are great but they are only as good as their battery, after all what is the point in being out all day if your mini laptop battery runs out before the day is finished. As far as battery power goes, the normal three to six cell battery will last for between two and five hours. However, NCIX are offering the MSI Wind with a nine cell battery that gives the user a brilliant twelve hour life.
The MSI brand is quickly becoming a major force within the computer market, but at the moment, they still have a little way to go before they be on a level playing field to compete with the likes of home team Dell. Yet despite having to export their products they are doing well and have released this new style laptop with numeric keyboard.
These are definitely laptops, yet by looking at the casing you would be forgiven for thinking that these are mini laptops as they are thin, light and probably underpowered in some areas. This is an MSI launch that will beat all other launches two laptops in one hit and that cannot be bad, can it?

There are plenty of features like the 500 Gb hard drive and a RAM that can be expanded up to 4 Gb and there is another important matter it looks really cool.
MSI are more popular for bringing out strange new designs that fascinate the user, the GT627 is not so strange at all, in fact, this is a laptop that could quite easily compare with the likes of Alienware, some gamers may not feel that is possible, but it is true. Not only that this laptop looks super cool too.
