Although MSI Notebook listed as #2 choice for our latest Netbook Review, MSI is coming out with a new Wind U120 that might change all that. What I like about this new MSI netbook is the fact that either WiMAX or HSDPA broadband connection will be available through SIM card insertion or subscription from Sprint’s new WiMAX network. Another rumor is that the new MSI might come with 20GB/40GB SSDs, which is a good thing but I still feel regular ol’ harddrives are better as SSD are still having some problems with Windows XP writes. We will have to wait and see but I am glad that MSI is already working on the new laptop. According to what we know so far, the new U120 will feature either a 120GB hard drive or 20/40GB SSD which will come at a later date. Other specs should be similar to the older U100, as there are no changes to the CPU or other key features. The business side of the U120 will be in its connectivity, as this one should come with 802.11n Wi-Fi and built-in 3.5G modem that will accept a SIM card. via laptopfresh, source a 10.2" Netbooks, 120gb hard … Continue reading →
a

Acer Aspire One is now availble in Europe. The A110L comes with an Atom N270 processor, the 945GSE chipset, 512MB to 1GB of RAM depending on where you look, an 8.9in LED backlit LCD display with 1,024×600 resolution, an 8GB NAND flash module, a multi-format memory card reader, 802.11b/g WiFi, 10/100Mbit Ethernet, modem and three USB 2.0 ports. It measures 249x170x29mm (WxDxH) and weighs in at 0.9kg. Again, depending on where you look it’ll either come with a 2,200mAH 3-cell battery or a 4,400mAH 4-cell battery. It will use Linpus Linux Lite as its OS and it’s divided up into four sections on the screen to make it easy to locate the applications you need. The sections are connect, work, fund and files. The other two models, the A150L and A150X both comes with a 120GB hard drive, with the L version still using Linux while the X version gets, you guessed it, Windows XP. All models will be available in either blue and black or white and black. via engadget a 120gb hard drive, Acer Laptops, atom, cell battery, europe, flash module, format memory, lcd display, memory card reader, modem, ports, using linux, windows xp
a

Hypersonic PC launches its colorful and playful Avenger AG2 notebook. But will great colors attract more customer than core features? The Avenger AG2 comes equipped a Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T9300 2.5Ghz with 6MB L2 Cache and 800 MHz FSB (Front side bus). The laptop features a 12.1″ glossy display and among other features, it comes with a Windows Vista. Laptop Pimp’s Verdict The laptop is equipped with good features but not great ones. For one, the laptop doesn’t come with an option for EDVO/HSDPA for broadband access. For most travelers these days, an embedded EDVO/HSDPA is a must. The Hypersonic PC comes only with Windows Vista. I’d probably downgrade to Windows XP as soon as it arrives on my doorstep so this is only an extra cost added for consumers who don’t use Vista. Final Verdict? Do not get one unless you don’t plan on using broadband modem or you like Vista. via laptoping a avenger, colors, consumers, doorstep, final verdict, front side bus, good features, hsdpa, hypersonic pc, intel, intel core 2, intel core 2 duo processor, l2 cache, laptop, Laptop Reviews, modem, notebook, pimp, travelers, windows xp
a
