The Voltaic Generator is one of the seriously cool innovations, which you would really love to have, but just know that the price tag is going to be steep. However, this is proper hi tech stuff which has enough power to charge up a laptop. For the ultimate mobile computing these days, you need to carry a solar panel with you to charge on the go. But here’s a solar powered laptop bag that will allow you to get extra solar power without the hassle of carrying a big, lousy solar panel with you. Using high-efficiency solar cells, this bag charges a laptop, cell phone, and most other handheld electronics. The solar panel generates enough power to fully charge a typical laptop from a day of direct sunlight. It includes a battery pack, which stores the charge and automatically converts it to the required output voltages. Common adaptors are included, and other devices can connect via USB or a car charger. Holds up to a 17″ laptop inside a protective case. via keetsa, Product Page a battery pack, briefcase, car charger, efficiency solar cells, handheld electronics, hassle, high efficiency, Laptop Accessories, Laptop Briefcase, laptop cell phone, Laptop News, mobile computing, … Continue reading →
a

It looks like ASUS is working on the high-end Eee PC versions, currently dubbed, “ASUS S101″. I really like this concept as I feel that ASUS Eee PCs weren’t going to satisfy my high-power requirements for mobile computing. According to CNET Crave Taiwan and HKEPC, Asus is preparing a high-end version of Eee PC that features 64GB SSD. The new laptop will named as the S101 and the Eee PC brand will be dropped to reflect the higher price tag of $899 USD. The Asus S101 will be powered by Intel’s Atom processor and has a 10.2-inch LCD display with LED backlit. There are two models, one with 32GB SSD that costs $699, and one with 64GB SSD for $899. via itechnews a ASUS Netbooks, atom, eee pc, hkepc, intel, laptop, Laptop News, lcd display, mobile computing, models, pc versions, price tag, s101, SSD, taiwan
a
