I have to say that my latest $380 investment on an Eee PC 1000HE netbook is worth a lot more than an iPhone or any other small mini-computer you can buy. Aside from the portability of a netbook, (and the fact that I am currently blogging live from the outdoor lounge chair department at my local Target store) netbooks these days come with no CD drives to cut down on costs and weight. This isn’t actually bad news since you can easily burn your CDs and DVDs using a software like Virtual CD from Germany. The Virtual CD lets you easily burn your CD/DVDs into ISO images, which then can instantly emulated as virtual CD/DVDs. Since my Eee PC comes with a hefty 160GB of harddrive, I can easily store many DVDs, especially if I am on a long travel. Plus, Virtual CD will be faster than any real physical drive at 200X speed. Without a doubt, software like this will let you free yourself from carrying a full-fledged laptop. Try it out yourself here by downloading the trial version here. a bad news, doubt, dvds, emulator, germany, iphone, iso cd, iso images, laptop, Laptop News, Laptop Software, lounge chair, … Continue reading →
a
