Lenovo delays Skylight launch

The interesting looking Lenovo Skylight was supposed to have been launched earlier on in the year, but following a series of delays the latest due date was to be any time soon, but there appears to be an issue once more with the delivery of the nice looking machine that would have been running Google’s Android OS.

It seems that the delay this time is indefinite, although there is remote chance that towards the end of the year we get a closer look at one of these cool looking machines.

The rumour mill is at work again and Lenovo is the subject as it is believed that the company is working towards a release of the ThinkPad X201, there is very little information around at the moment, but here are some specs.

This is Lenovo’s first venture into a very exciting market, the smartbook market, yes we need a category! But just to recap, a smartbook is a device that combines specs of a smartphone with that of a netbook.

So this is the Lenovo Skylight, it is an ARM powered device, which makes it a smartphone, but it is comes in clam style casing and has features that you would expect to find in a netbook.
