The new Lenovo ThinkPad X120e was supposed to be launches tomorrow (15th), but according to a tweet posted on the Lenovo Twitter page the launch had been delayed until the 8th March. However this tweet has since been removed and so we will either know tomorrow or in few weeks time as to when the actual launch date it going to be! Asus Eee Slate goes on sale

The 12.1 inch Asus Eee Slate EP121 first seen at the CES in Las Vegas has appeared on Amazon for orders, although from the page it appears that the 64GB version is out of stock. ECS releases three new machines

The computer makers have been busy at the Computex show, one surprising return to the business is ECS, they have not been around for a while, but now they are back with three different models. Features: ECS T10IL, which weighs less than 1 kilogram (or about 2.2 pounds) and features a 10.1 inch display, 1.8″hard drive or SSD, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and an HSUPA modem. ECS V10IL which has a 10.1 or 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, a 2.5 inch 160GB hard drive, and an HSUPA modem. Bluetooth is optional. ECS T21IL is a larger model with an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display. It is easy enough to get an extra display unit to work alongside your laptop, all you need do is feed it through the VGA or DVI output and you are away. It comes to us no surprise that ASUS is testing their new Eee PC 901/1000H mini-laptops in Korea, especially with those colorful covers. While we can’t get these units in the US, you can always fly over to Korea and grab one of these units. They are approximately about $600 and $700 for the Eee PC 901 and 1000H, respectively. SEOUL, Korea (AVING) — <Visual News> ASUS announced the launch of its newest version of Eee PC ’901/1000H’ in Korea market. Bundled with 30GB external hard disk, except its built-in 12GB SSD, the Eee PC 901 model now comes in four different colors including metro black, bubble white, flower pink and lime green with unique pattern. Microsoft isn’t one of my favorite companies when it comes to operating systems but as for mouse, I think they make better mice than Logitech and all the other mice companies out there. I too have always wanted something like this because even my IKEA desk needs a mousepad in order for my Microsoft basic mouse to work. Asus Eee Linux Box!

Rumor say that ASUS is building an ASUS Eee Linux Box. Basically, it looks almost like a Wii or something but don’t expect any gaming consoles, it’s still just a computer that looks stylish. As per our previous speculation, an official launch of the Eee Box will indeed take place on June 3rd at Computex in Taiwan. Hardly surprising given the show is in Taiwan, the home of Asus and many a computing manufacturer. Specs wise, our source told us the machines would be launching with 2GB RAM as standard, along with a 160GB hard drive – obviously not an SSD. These new machines will be running the same Linux distro found on the Eee PCs – no bad thing by our reckoning. It’ll be launching in the UK in Q3 and be available and be available in white, though no word was made as to the availability of the proposed black version. Finally, and somewhat disappointingly, our source couldn’t confirm whether these early systems would in fact be using the Centrino Atom platform adding: “I honestly don’t know at this point”.
