This of course in no ordinary advert, for this is going to be advert for the one laptop per child (OLPC) organisation. Despite having died over twenty eight years ago, the great man is back and doing something that he would be proud of. With some clever manipulation and with the consent of his wife Yoko Ono, John Lennon says, “Imagine every child no matter where in the world they were could access a universe of knowledge. They would have a chance to learn, to dream, to achieve anything they want.” Source [Cheap Laptops] [Gallery] a advert, john lennon, Kids Laptops, laptop per child, tv ad, wife yoko ono
a

The new OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) XO2 will act like an eletronic book in addition to other cool new features being added. The revamped machine created by the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) project looks like an e-book and has had its price slashed to $75 per device. OLPC founder Nicholas Negroponte gave a glimpse of the “book like” device at an unveiling event at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The first XO2 machines should be ready to deliver to children in 2010. Mr Negroponte said he hoped the design would also be used by other manufacturers. via bbc a bbc, electronic book, glimpse, Kids Laptops, laptop per child, massachusetts institute of technology, new features, nicholas negroponte, olpc, xo2
a
