Vantech, a company based out of South Korea, has just launched its new Porsche wireless mouse especially catered for mini-notebooks. SEOUL, Korea (AVING) — <Visual News> Most Vantech(www.vaax.co.kr) has presented its mini sports car-shaped wireless mouse ‘Minicute NANO 1600DPI’ in Korea market, which is designed for mini notebooks. Equipped with a 2.4GHz Nano-receiver, the Minicute NANO mouse supports up to 1600dpi optical sensor. Suggested price is 39,000(KRW). Just when you thought touchscreen Laptops and tablets would be sufficient, here comes an Ink Pad that will let you write on a real notebook while it gets doubly-recorded in your laptop. There’s no word on availability here in the States but it should be available some time next year. Daewoo’s Lukid is OLPC for Korea!

Looks like automobile manufacturer Daewoo is jumping in the kid’s laptop market with its Lukid laptop, looks very similar to the OLPC laptop. On the downside, the Lukid is going to cost around $500 USD so don’t see it selling anywhere other than Korea anytime soon. Daewoo Lucoms(www.lucoms.co.kr) launched its low-cost education-use mobile computer ‘LUKID’ for children in Korea market. Based on Intel’s Classmate PC, the LUKID is powered by Intel 900MHz Celeron processor and Windows XP OS.
