It comes to us no surprise that ASUS is testing their new Eee PC 901/1000H mini-laptops in Korea, especially with those colorful covers.  While we can’t get these units in the US, you can always fly over to Korea and grab one of these units.  They are approximately about $600 and $700 for the Eee PC 901 and 1000H, respectively.

ASUS introduces more cool models in Korea.

ASUS unveiled its Montevina platform-based laptop ‘F8Va’ with instant-on feature in Korea market.

Running on Intel Core Duo T9400(2.53GHz) processor and Windows Vista OS, the F8Va adopts 4GB DDR2 800MHz memory, 320GB SATA hard drive, ATI Radeon HD3650 graphic chipset, and a 14-inch WXGA LCD screen with 1440*900 resolution.

Other features included Bluray DVD combo drive, 1.3M camera, HDMI support. It is expected to be available in Korea market in the end of July.

Looks like automobile manufacturer Daewoo is jumping in the kid’s laptop market with its Lukid laptop, looks very similar to the OLPC laptop.

On the downside, the Lukid is going to cost around $500 USD so don’t see it selling anywhere other than Korea anytime soon.
