The giant kids retailer Toys “R” Us are taking order for the much awaited Asus Disney netbook that is going to be know in the future as the MK90 Netpal. This 8.9 inch computer is listed on the kids store site as being exclusive and the first deliveries are expected to be made on the 3rd August.

Disney have collaborated with the Taiwan based computer maker Asus to produce what they have called the Netpal, it is an 8.9″ mini laptop aimed the kids market. Available in two colours “Princess Pink” and “Magic Blue” the computer has a unique Disney style interface that the target age group of six to twelve will love.

Netbooks never cease to amaze us they come in so many different shapes, sizes and with different features and specs that it is becoming a hard job to decide which one suits their needs and of course pocket. Like this OCZ Neutrino this is as basic as it is going to get, no hard drive, memory or operating system, it’s like the good old days when you bought a computer and added the software later.
This is a basic computer, and as such offer a basic spec. However, that does not mean that it is not too clever, it is great for entry level computing and could be great for schools.
