DosPara Launch the Prime Note Rigel DC2

The Japanese computer maker DosPara have released a new build, it goes under the model name of the Prime Note Rigel DC2, it is a 13.3 inch laptop with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and runs a 1.2 GHz Intel Celeron SU2300 processor with an integrated graphics card. This machine will initially go on sale in Japan at around $500.

Suzuki enter the market with the 701

The netbook market is so big that even new to the market computer makers are getting in on the act, take the Japanese firm Suzuki, they have brought out the nice and neat looking Neutron 701 mini netbook. This is interesting little machine that offers the user a similar features as any other netbook although this one does seem to have a bit more punch with up 4 Gb in RAM.

HP to offer prepaid 3G netbooks

HP are looking to change the face of the prepaid 3G market by offering netbooks and even other devices at greatly subsidised prices, there are rumours that the prices could be as low as $50 and rising up to $100.

 

In with this deal, the user will get a hundred free minutes to use and then after the user will need to continue under the pay as you go scheme in order to keep the machine connected to the internet. Now the bad news currently this deal is only available in Japan at the moment.

MSI Wind U115 launched in Japan

Thanks to some clever detective work from the guys over at portablemonkey.com who found that the Japanese retailer sofmap.com are advertising the MSI Wind U115 as being up for release on the 22nd May.

As of yet there are no details on specs or anything else, however there was an idea of how much this machine is going to cost, around $733, which is on the rather expensive side.
