The mini laptop as with many other types of technology is beginning to grow, now it seems that the manufacturers are looking to create larger models but still manage to keep in with the spirit of the mini laptop theme. Initially the price has been set at around seven hundred dollars, but we would have think that the price is likely to fall to get this machine into the US market.

OCZ Neutrino Review

Netbooks never cease to amaze us they come in so many different shapes, sizes and with different features and specs that it is becoming a hard job to decide which one suits their needs and of course pocket. Like this OCZ Neutrino this is as basic as it is going to get, no hard drive, memory or operating system, it’s like the good old days when you bought a computer and added the software later.

This is a basic computer, and as such offer a basic spec. However, that does not mean that it is not too clever, it is great for entry level computing and could be great for schools.

First images of the Skytone Alpha 680

There are not many details around at moment about the Skytone Alpha 680, which will be powered by Android, Google’s operating system. However, here are the first images it is a bit red yet this long awaited laptop has made an appearance and some cool dude has managed to grab a few pics.

It is an amazing price and something that would seem to be too good to be true, but yes, this mini laptop is cheap and cheerful, it comes with an 8.9 inch display and to all intents and purposes is a smaller version of the U100. This particular model comes with Linux OS and free shipping!

MSI X340 Review

For MSI it looks as if it is Apple who lay down the benchmarks and MSI try to get a close as they possibly can to these specs. However, at the same time manage to hold back on the total price making them very affordable and there is no denying that the MSI is good value at $899 when it is compared to the Apple at $1,799, which is a hell of a difference.
