This is a twelve inch mini laptop, its looks nice with a glossy casing and is being placed in the market place at the same level as the Samsung NC20. When it comes to price, it would seem that there is only around $50 difference! On the face of it, this is an update of the 1000H, which is fine.
This is neat looking laptop that is bound to please some laptop users while at the same time confuse others as to its purpose. To put things into perspective Zepto is a Danish company that first started making computers in 2002. The Nox A15 sports a neat rubberised casing that protects the Core 2 Duo processor and 9600 GT graphics card. It comes with 4 Gb of RAM, which is ample for the Window Vista that is runs. However when it comes to battery power it is a big let down, a gamer will only have around an hour of power! Priced at $700 Source [Tech Radar] [Gallery] a battery power, danish company, gamer, gb, graphics card, Tough Laptops, window vista, zepto, Zepto Laptops
a

Toshiba rolls out the Tecra R10 along with the other Portege A600 (read the review). What I like most about this R10 laptop without even looking at specs is how large the cooling metal fins are on the side of the laptop. One of the biggest problems with bigger, performance laptops in the past have been problems with CPU cooling. With great advances in CPU technology, manufacturers usually put a CPU fan that will last just over a year, causing the laptop to break after warranty expires. Sounds like a great way to fool consumers to buy a new laptop every year? (Well that has been case with 2 of my previous $2000 HP laptops, I am not buying HP for awhile now, I switched to Dell.) The cooling fan on this laptop should help you to work for a long time even without laptop cooling mats since the fans come out to the side. Well, a lot of laptops are like this but it’s good to note that this one does have a BIG one. The Toshiba Tecra R10 comes with a 14.1″ widescreen display, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SP9300, 3GB PC2-6400 DDR2 800MHz SDRAM, 160GB HDD, DVD, … Continue reading →
a

HP has just launched HDX16 and HDX18 series laptops. The HDX16 comes with a 16″ display and lots of power-packed features. The only bad part about HPs is that they come with Vista Premium, which most people will uninstall anyways. Other than that, it looks like a pretty good buy but make sure get HP warranty, I have two 17″ laptops sitting on my desk that just “died” one day. I couldn’t find anything about the HDX18 as the press release went out yesterday but here’s the summary and specs for the HP Pavilion HDX16: Operating system The main control program of your system.
Toshiba launches world’s first laptop with cell processor technology called Qosmio! Aimed at the digital media market, I am betting this laptop could be popular among those who constantly need to fiddle and connect to their HDTV. “In terms of the Qosmio laptop brand, innovation is the key ingredient,” said Jeff Barney, vice president and general manager, Digital Products Division, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. “The addition of the TOSHIBA Quad Core HD Processor marks a watershed moment in the multimedia and HD segments. Qosmio G55-Q802 laptop PC users now have the power and ability to control and manipulate their personal content with unmatched precision and speed while also enjoying their full DVD collections at resolutions up to 1080i.” The TOSHIBA Quad Core HD Processor was designed to better serve the creative process by alleviating the intense burden that’s placed on the CPU while handling a wide range of multimedia tasks, such as video transcoding. The complex task of transcoding and encoding a personal video project monopolizes a majority of the processing power of today’s advanced computer systems. Through the addition of the TOSHIBA Quad Core HD Processor, along with the combined strength of Intel’s latest Core(TM) 2 Duo processor(1) … Continue reading →
a
