I talked about the new browser-based OS gOS Cloud yesterday in my news roundup, and today I looked into it a little more. I really wanted to find a video, but I found a slideshow instead. If you know of a video, let me know and I’ll get it up. From what I can tell, it’s all browser based allowing a user to switch and launch web-apps with ease. Check out the show below for more info. And, please let me know what you think in the comments. a gOS cloud, Laptop News
a

A new OS is always exciting, and Good OS has announced a new browser-based OS for netbooks called gOS Cloud. Basically a browser with an integrated OSX-like dock for launching web apps, this could be the first step toward the all online OS. Netbooks will be around at least for a while, thanks to huge numbers on Cyber Monday. PC World is reporting that the mini-notebooks are selling like hotcakes. And overall, Cyber Monday was more of a success than last year, with ZD Net reporting a 46 percent increase in online shopping yesterday With all this fuss over being green, Easy Energy has one-uped everyone and released they are working on a human powered laptop. Good for you, good for Mother Earth. There’s also more news about low-cost laptops in third-world classrooms, as kids in Kuala Lumpur are replacing their text books with laptops. a cyber monday, easy energy, Good OS, gOS cloud, Laptop News, Netbook Reviews
a
