A short while ago the computer maker Gateway launched the LT32 and now to compliment the machine they have brought out the LT22, these are both mini laptops providing the consumer with a different choice to usual range available. Although it has to be said that these are very similar the Acer Aspire models on the market, but that should come as a surprise as Acer saved Gateway from disappearing.

The computer maker Gateway will be including the Intel 1.6 GHz Atom N270 in the LT2000 and yes there will be an “Intel Inside” sticker on the casing just so that there is no misunderstandings as to what is going on inside. This news follows the LT2000 use of the AMD processor in the first batch.

It is great to see that BestBuy are not hanging around when it comes to new laptops and there is no exception with the LT series from Gateway. They have the prices starting at $399, which is okay, the main difference between this, and the Acer Aspire One is that they have replaced the Intel with the AMD Athlon processor.

The computer company that returned from the dead, Gateway have been busy in its absence from the market and they have recently introduced a couple nice models to compliment the range. These are the Gateway NV5807u and NV5214u with a starting price of around $500; these are basically the same apart from the processor used.

This laptop could easily be described as being low in price, but at the same time offers the buyer great performance and a nice design. The MD series from Gateway is all of that and more, it offers a reasonable standard of specification along with a fifteen inch display.
