Here’s a cool USB Laptop KVM Switch from IOGear that let’s you switch between your laptops easily using a single USB cable. I personally own a kVM switch that needs mouse and keyboard inputs separately, this solves that hassle. IOGEAR, makers of connectivity products that link up USB, video, and networking devices, has just announced their latest KVM Switch. KVM (short for Keyboard, Video, and Mouse) is a hardware and software technology solution that allows you to control multiple computers from one set of peripherals. This new USB Laptop KVM switch connects to any two computers via USB (laptop-to-laptop, PC-to-PC, or laptop-to-PC), so you can control one system from the other as a console. The software embedded in the Switch’s firmware adjusts for desktop resolution scaling and also facilitates drag-and-drop file transfers via a shared temporary window. An extra USB 2.0 port on the switch allows for extra device sharing, such as with an external hard drive. No extra power supply is required, and the entire cable stretches a total of nine feet (three feet on one end, six on the other). The USB Laptop KVM Switch goes on sale today for $129.95. via engadget, mpc a connectivity products, desktop … Continue reading →
a

Belkin is coming out with another really cool Laptop Cooler. I currently use an el-cheapo from Target but this one does look a little more promising. Belkin International, Inc., announces four new products to round out its laptop accessories offering. Belkin’s new CushTop Hideaway protects your lap from a hot computer and conveniently stores your laptop when you are finished. The Laptop Cooling Hub keeps your laptop cool and gives you four extra USB ports to connect devices like an external hard drive, mouse, and webcam. With an adjustable-height mechanism and a wider footprint, the Cooling Lounge makes for a more comfortable computing experience on your lap. The simple design of the CoolStrip lifts your laptop, allowing it to breathe while also managing your power cord. via gizmodo – notcot a belkin, comfortable computing, el cheapo, external hard drive, hideaway, hot computer, hub, Laptop Accessories, laptop cooler, laptop cooler, laptop cooling, Laptop Mat, notcot, power cord, target, usb ports, webcam
a
