When Asus released the Eee PC 1000HV there was little known about what the HV actually meant, but the 1000 HV apart from everything that you think it meant. The 1000 HV comes with an ATI Raedeon HD 3450 video card that has its very own 256 Mb of memory and the Super Hybrid Engine, this means that the user can play HD video at the most efficient power level.

It seems that there may have been a change of plan when it comes to the phasing out of the Asus Eee PC 1000HE in Europe. There were rumours that the mini laptop was going to be phased out in the UK and France, but it appears that these rumours may be wrong.
Now it seems the same source within Asus is saying that the PC 1000H and the PC 1000HE are the most popular models within the Asus range and have no immediate plans to phase these models out.
This is the new Asus Eee PC 1002HAE, now when we say new, there is little that has changed when it comes to this machine, although this one does come in red, which is slightly unusual but it is interesting.

The computer industry is pursuing green agenda these days, well they have to in order to not only look good but also make sure that they are not exceeding their carbon footprint. To this end, Asus has brought out the Eee PC S101H. This machine does not have the usual SSD for storage, but instead has an HDD. The only green feature appears to be the power saving mode.
Yet another Asus release is on the cards, they seem to be knocking them out like anyone’s business. In fact, a lot of them somehow look the same with only slight differences separating them. From what we can see, it looks like the only difference between this and the 1002HA is the 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N280, instead of the N270 and the keyboard.
It seems like UK consumers will be getting a better deal with the ASUS Eec PCs. Darn it, why???
An Asus UK spokeswoman said: “Asus offers different solutions in different markets. In EU countries, we use 4400mAh [with the] Eee 900. However, we give a two-year warranty within the country you bought the Eee 900.”
