This is the famous Gigabyte M1005M-CF1 with docking station, it is nothing to write home about as a netbook, but with the docking station then it is an interesting concept as the unit comes with extra USB ports, VGA out as well as an ethenet connection.

These are the details for the slightly unusual Gigabyte M1005M-CF1 Netbook docking station, while the netbook offers a 10.1 inch matte display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, powered by the 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor, and will be running Windows 7 Starter Edition operating system.

Gigabyte updates the M1005

Gigabyte have created yet another netbook dock that allows the user to place the device into the dock, connect it to a monitor, mouse and keyboard so that it can be used as a desktop. The netbook itself offers a 10.1 inch LED back lit display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, it is powered by the 1.5 GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor, while graphics are provided through the Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics card. It is worth noting that the only the VGA and docking socket are facing down when the M1005 is in the dock.

Gigabyte launches desktop dock

The Gigabyte laptop is one of those firms that like to bring out or add something that is not available with other computer firms.

So to be true to that Gigabyte are now providing the docking station with the M1305 that provides six USB ports, VGA, HDMI and DVI video outputs. It is good in a way because it gives you a smaller and lighter laptop.

Review of the Gigabyte Bookmark M1022

The final machine from Gigabyte is the Bookmark M1022; this is probably the better computer out of all three of the new editions launched at the CeBIT. There is one rather unusual feature to this laptop, it is a feature that allows the user to place the laptop into a docking station, and this effectively means that it can double as a desktop, which is totally cool!
