As the mobile carrier T Mobile are now able to offer 4G on its network it stands to reason that it might a be a good idea that the popular netbook, the Mini 10 from Dell would be able to support 4G.

The netbook itself remains the same apart from the fact it will be able to connect to the 4G network and experience faster connection speeds allowing the user to download content and surf the net at much faster speeds.

The mobile carrier T Mobile is offering the cool Dell Mini 10 netbook for under $200 on a two year mobile broadband contract.

This would appear to be a good deal for consumers, but only if they live in the selected T Mobile regions, which seem to be the cities of Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Miami.

Features of the Dell Mini 10 netbook with T Mobile:

Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz CPU, 10.1-inch WSVGA display, 1.3MP webcam, 3 USB ports, VGA port, Windows 7 Starter, roam in 850/1900 MHz frequencies and a promised 8-hours battery life.

Sprint offers Dell Mini 10 deal

These offers in general look good, but in actually fact mean that the cost of the mini laptop and carries service comes out about even, it’s a similar way in which cell phones were sold.

So what is Sprint offering?

It is the Dell Inspiron Mini 10, the customer has to pay $199 up front for the device, and at the same time commit to a $59.99 per month contract, which lasts twenty four months.

The workings – 59.99 x 24 = 1,439 + 199 = 1,638.76

Sprint to offer Dell Mini 10

Apparently as from the 1st November the phone service carrier Sprint will be offering the Dell Mini 10 as part to the providers subsidised and subscription based deals.

Sprint will be looking at the consumer paying $299 up front with a $100 rebate, then pay out $60 per month to include 5 Gb worth of data.

On the whole, that may not seem like a bad deal apart from the rebate etc, but the Dell Mini 10 is a low end machine, that offers 3G modem, a 160 GB HD, 1 GB of RAM, and an Atom processor.
