Although MSI Notebook listed as #2 choice for our latest Netbook Review, MSI is coming out with a new Wind U120 that might change all that. What I like about this new MSI netbook is the fact that either WiMAX or HSDPA broadband connection will be available through SIM card insertion or subscription from Sprint’s new WiMAX network. Another rumor is that the new MSI might come with 20GB/40GB SSDs, which is a good thing but I still feel regular ol’ harddrives are better as SSD are still having some problems with Windows XP writes. We will have to wait and see but I am glad that MSI is already working on the new laptop. According to what we know so far, the new U120 will feature either a 120GB hard drive or 20/40GB SSD which will come at a later date. Other specs should be similar to the older U100, as there are no changes to the CPU or other key features. The business side of the U120 will be in its connectivity, as this one should come with 802.11n Wi-Fi and built-in 3.5G modem that will accept a SIM card. via laptopfresh, source a 10.2" Netbooks, 120gb hard … Continue reading →
a

Here’s another cool gaming laptop from Packard Bell called iPower GX. I haven’t really heard about Packard Bell as a company that much so I might not get something like this, especially since laptops are crucial in terms of brands you get. The iPower GX also features 1,920 x 1,200 resolution display, nVidia 9800M GTS 1GB video card, Intel Core 2 Quad Q9100 processor, Draft-N Wi-Fi connectivity and Optional Blu-ray drive. You should have at least 1,499 Euro to buy this laptop. The Packard Bell iPower GX will be released in October 2008. via laptopfresh a blu ray, connectivity, cool gaming, Gaming Laptops, gts, intel, intel core 2, laptop, laptops, nvidia, packard bell ipower, video card, wi fi
a
