The time may have come when netbooks are given away for free by the mobile carriers, according to the Head of a Linux advocacy group, the Linux foundation. He was speaking at a Beijing forum of prominent Chinese business people.
Many companies such as AT&T already sell subsidised 3G netbooks in the US and in fact the same is beginning to happen in China, but to actually give a netbook away in the similar manner
Currently the follow up to the Joybook lite U121 eco netbook is only available in China, Japan, Taiwan and Thailand, but it is that good surely it will not be long before it comes the Europe and the US. The nicely designed Samsung N310 is to be renamed “GO” for when it eventually arrives in the US, currently the mini laptop is doing very well in the UK, but as of yet the 10.1 inch colourful computer has not appeared in the US. The estimated time of release is the 15th July and this is when the Samsung Go will hit the stores, but at the moment there are no pages up.

There is a lot of speculation regarding the latest Samsung offering the N510! The main point of contention is the Nvidia Ion chip; will this laptop come with the latest chip or stick with the one that the manufacturer is currently using?
