BenQ launch the Joybook Lite

This is a machine that we first saw at the Computex 2009, which seems an age away now. But finally BenQ have launched the first of these 11.6 inch machines in Taiwan for now, although there is not many details as when the BenQ Joybook Lite U121 will be available elsewhere, if it ever will be just in case the specs are below.

BenQ releases the Joybook lite 102

Currently the follow up to the Joybook lite U121 eco netbook is only available in China, Japan, Taiwan and Thailand, but it is that good surely it will not be long before it comes the Europe and the US. The 102 has a 10.1 inch display as well as a whole lot of features that you would expect to find with a netbook of this standard.

The eco laptop from BenQ

It seems that anything with an eco on it these days is good for the planet, whereas in fact using the word eco can sometimes backfire on you. BenQ S42 – Victorian-style luxury notebook

Here’s an interesting laptop from BenQ that’s supposedly “victorian” style.

Adopting a 14.1-inch wide LED panel, the S42 is powered by Intel Centrino 2 and GeForce 9600M GS. The S42 is expected to be available in the end of July.
