I just got an alert from one of my readers that they cannot change brightness on their ASUS UL30Vt after a resume. The same thing has been happening to my ASUS UL30Vt but I found a quick fix over at ASUS’s download page, the BIOS update fixes the issue.

There is of course already a UL30 on the market, so the UL30Vt is obviously going to be the replacement for that model, especially as the new model comes with the Windows 7 operating system.
In fact the latest model comes with a choice of a 1.2GHz Intel Celeron processor or the 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a choice between the Intel GMA X4500MHD graphics chip or the nVidia GeForce G210M 512MB graphics card
