Work still carries on at the core of Apple! Despite their current issues with the iPhone 4, the company are said to be working on a new 11.6 inch MacBook Air; naturally, there is no timeline available or even conformation that this is true. However, anything with Apple in is interesting, even pies! The word is that this new laptop will hitting the streets later on in the year, which when we consider that the second half of the year starts in a couple of weeks, could be sooner than we think. The computer is said to be in production at Quanta Computer and it is going to be slimmer and lighter in design, which should be interesting. The laptop market is flooded with a different brands and models so making a splash within this sector is going to take some doing. In fact is probably why the main laptop manufacturers are constantly bringing out new versions of their products on a regular basis. However, for Apple it would to be a battle that they could not possible win, but it seems that nobody has told Apple that as during the second quarter of the year Apples share of the laptop market in the US, has grown. Not by a lot, but never the less it has grown from 9.1 per cent during Q2 in 2009 to 9.8 per cent for Q2 in 2010, these figures do not include the iPhone or iPad sales.
