Whole bunch of AMD Puma based laptops were introduced today. Yey! Go AMD!!!
TAIPEI, Taiwan (AVING Special Report on ‘COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2008′) — <Visual News> AMD displayed Puma platform-based netbooks from HP, Asus, Acer and Fujitsu during Computex 2008.
AMD’s next-generation Puma platform comes with AMD Turion Ultra processor, originally code-named Griffin, and AMD 780 Series chipset to maximize battery life while meeting the heavy graphics performance.
MSI rolls out its 15.4-inch notebook PC in Korea.
Running on AMD Athlon64X2 TK55(1.8G) processor, the VR610X-237KR adopts 1GB memory, 160GB HDD and DVD SuperMulti. Other features included high-performance stereo speakers, web camera and 107-key keyboard.

Based on the existing M51 and M70 lines, the M51VR will feature a 2.26GHz Penryn P8400 with 3MB of L2 cache on Montevina’s 1.06GHz bus, while the M51VA and M70VM (pictured) will get 2.53GHz T9400s with 6MB of cache. ASUS should also be showing off the Puma-based F5Z and X50Z laptops with 1.9GHz AMD Athlon64 X2 QL-60 chips, 667MHz buses, ATI Mobility Radeon HD3200 graphics and 15.4-inch screens at Computex, so it’ll be interesting to see how these bad bo

Its a pretty powerful 15.4” notebook that is well designed, priced, and built.
I do all my gaming on it, I might get a PS3 for GT5 when the full game comes
