Personally, I am a big fan of Dell Inspiron laptops as they are so cheap and haven’t failed me so far. I already own two Dell 1525 laptops I bought last year. After searching for a good deal on a 15″ laptop, I finally found a ready-to-ship Dell Inspiron 15 laptop for $539.95 on Amazon. This is much cheaper than Dell.com site itself, I believe it’s because these have slightly slower CPUs than the ones Dell.com is right now selling. These are the good deals you can take advantage of, especially since there’s not much noticeable difference in the slightly slower CPU. If you were to get it on Dell.com, you’d have to get a Celeron CPU, which would really suck. Anyways, I am ordering one right now to do a video review and since I am always in need of new laptops. P.S. Are you kidding me? The new Inspiron 15 with dual-core Intel processor for $539.95? Price: $539.95 on Amazon Features: Product Features Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core mobile processor T3400 – Features a 667MHz frontside bus, 1MB L2 cache and 2.16GHz processor speed. 3GB DDR2 SDRAM memory – For multitasking power, expandable to 4GB. 160GB Serial ATA hard drive … Continue reading →
a

With advances in laptop bags, you want to get the best laptop bag for your money. But aside from advances in the bags, I find that it’s more feasible and practical if you carry a laptop bag that’s comfortable for your shoulders, especially for those long trips where you will be carrying your laptop for more than 5 hours. For such road warriors, I highly recommend to get a netbook or a small laptop couple with this Belkin Laptop Sling Bag, the best one I found for the price you pay. Without a doubt, sling bags are great since they secure your laptop very well while allowing you better mobility over other types of laptop bags. Do note there’s also a hidden compartment on the sholder strap for your cellphone.
I have to say that after using my Dell Inspiron 1525 for couple months, I highly recommend Dell’s new 1526 series too. Least but not least, Dell as a company have changed their product line drastically over the years through innovative engineering and basically more money in engineering. The Dell Inspiron 1526 features 15.4″ screen with 1280×800 pixel resolution, AMD Turion Dual-Core TL-60 2.0Ghz Processor, 4 gigs of ram, 250GB hard drive, Wifi, Webcam, and 8X DVD Read/Write drive. One thing I’ve noticed on all 1500 series is that it comes with HDMI outputs so you can connect it to your HDTV. Price: $974.99 at Amazon a 15" Laptops, 250gb hard drive, amazon, amd, dell inspiron, Dell Laptops, dual core, gigs, hdtv price, innovative engineering, Laptop News, Laptop Reviews, Laptop Specs, money, pixel resolution, webcam
a

For today’s choice of netbook review worth getting and worth your time, we are going to be recommending the most expensive “blue” Samsung NC10-14GB from Amazon. For all its worth, Samsung has been making laptops for longer than anyone else including both Acer and Aspire. In the past, Samsung has stopped selling their top-of-the-line laptops in America, due to the fact that the market here has fierce competition and the laptops were made, localized to South Koreans, not Americans. Anyways, they are getting back in the U.S. market with these new, sleek netbooks and I am sure you can bet your money on their brand. My dad used to get these netbooks way before they came out in America like 5 years back, I don’t think this is new stuff for Samsung. What I like most about this laptop is the fact that it only weight 2.9 pounds, Windows XP, large 160GB harddrive, and all the network connections. The price might come a little more pricey over other netbooks but I think this laptop will perform to your standards. Get it here on Amazon and SAVE. 10.2″ Wide, 1024 x 600 WSVGA , 220 nits Intel Atom processor N270, 1.6 … Continue reading →
a

Well, Laptop people, another week has slipped past us. Let’s take a loot at some of the best laptops we looked at this week, as well as the day’s news and a few great how-tos and hacks. First, our top three laptops of the week: 1. The Samsung X460 turned some heads this week. The solid specs and great design was enough for reviwers around the net. 2. The Alienware M17 might have a case that looks like 1998, but inside, it’s all 2008. 3. The Acer Aspire 8930G hit just in time to compete with the M17 for serious gamers looking to replace their desktop. As for a great tip, I have an oldie but a goodie for you. It may not be this simple these days, but on old laptops, replacing that dead battery pack is easier than you think: Also in How-Tos and hacks this week, Laptop Magazine shows you how to upgrade a Samsung NC10′s hard drive. A good tip, even if you dont have an NC10, as knowing a bit more about internal opperations is always interesting. Remember to send any tips or tricks you might have along to me here through the comments. Also, … Continue reading →
a

MacBook thieves lookout: Woe to the hoodie-wearing miscreant who steals a Mac laptop equipped with MacTrak. He’s likely to find his photo plastered all over the Internet—and the police at his door.
One of ASUS’s newest Eee PC 1000HD is probably a great choice for anyone who doesn’t mind its Linux operating system. Of course, as for me, I rather have a Windows XP and install Linux afterwards if I feel like it. Of course, another side to this story is that the 1000HD has an Intel Celeron M processor versus an Intel Atom N270 processor. (which I prefer. Celerons have proven to be slow in the past.) The other better half of Eee PC 1000HD is the 1000HA, which we will be reviewing next. Before that, you can absorb all the specs and raves about the Eee PC 1000HD here: Operating system: Linux Internal memory: 80 GB hard disk drive (HDD) RAM: 1 GB DDR2 Processor: 900 MHz Intel Celeron M 353 Memory expansion: Slot for MMC/SD(SDHC) cards Screen: 10 inches, 1024 x 600 pixels, LED backlight Networking: Draft-N Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), 10/100 Fast Ethernet Bluetooth connectivity: Yes Peripheral connectivity: Three USB 2.0 External video: One VGA External audio: One headphone and one microphone port Webcamera: Yes, 1.3 megapixels Battery: 6 cells (6600 mAh), up to 4.6 hours Weight: 3.19 pounds (51 ounces) Dimensions: 10.5 × 7.5 × 1.5 inches UPDATE: Eee … Continue reading →
a

You might be wondering which Netbooks are the best to get these days, well let me explain what a “netbook” is in the first place. Netbooks are laptops with smaller screen size of around 8.9″ or 10.1″. Basically, you get a 1024×600 or 1200×800 resolution screen. Should you get a netbook? Well, netbooks are great for people who need something between a Blackberry and a laptop. You can get a lot of things done on a netbook, but don’t expect super-fast blazing speeds or work on your latest Photoshop graphic project. For older people who have hard time reading regular 15″ laptops, netbooks are going to be a pain, so don’t get one if you have to use your reading glasses. (But if you must explore, go ahead, they are cheaper than most laptops) For students who need a laptop for college classes, I think netbooks are great because most of them weigh less than 2.5 pounds and they will fit in your extra-large Louis Vuitton bag or your backpack too. For bloggers and professionals who need a laptop to work on writing and images, netbooks are horrible as the keyboard is too small and on-board touchpad is too funky … Continue reading →
a

Our beloved OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) will be coming to Amazon in November. I think this is a great idea as Amazon will help increase the sales of OLPC and ultimately help them invent more low-cost PCs for kids in 3rd world countries. Amazon.com will start selling XO laptops under the Give One, Get One program in late November. Sales will likely extend through the end of December. “We’re a small group of people,” said Keller, explaining the rationale for working with Amazon.com. via cw a 3rd world countries, amazon, Kids Laptops, Laptop News, laptops, late november, olpc, rationale, small group
a

The ASUS Eee PC 4G may be the best 7″ mini-notebook on the market today. The question is, is it for you? Well, you can decide for yourself after looking at these specs: Get the power of a full-sized laptop in the ultra-compact ASUS Eee PC 4G, which offers a full QWERTY keyboard, 7-inch screen, and preinstalled Linux operating system. (This laptop is also compatible with the Microsoft Windows XP operating system.) You’ll be able to stay connected to email and the Internet easily thanks to the Wi-Fi LAN (802.11b/g), and communicate via video chat and VoIP with the Webcam integrated into the display’s bezel. Because it uses flash memory instead of a hard drive (with 4 GB of storage), the Eee PC is optimal for weathering rough handling and sharing space in overstuffed bags. I do like it because of the fact that it’s about the price of an iPhone, yet you can do so much. Buy an ASUS Eee PC 4G at Amazon here a 4 gb, 4g, 802 11b, amazon, ASUS Netbooks, bezel, flash memory, full qwerty keyboard, hard drive, iphone, laptop, Laptop Reviews, linux operating system, microsoft windows, mini notebook, video chat, voip, weathering, webcam, wi … Continue reading →
a
