The time may have come when netbooks are given away for free by the mobile carriers, according to the Head of a Linux advocacy group, the Linux foundation. He was speaking at a Beijing forum of prominent Chinese business people. Its official the Dell has finally laid the nine inch netbook to rest, this should not come as much surprise, we expected it to happen sooner or later, but as with many things we knew it was coming but it is still a shame when the hammer finally falls down on something that has been loved by so many people.
