Europe gets the Lenovo IdeaPad S12, finally

Currently the Lenovo IdeaPad S12 is only available for pre-order through the German Amazon site. It will cost potential buyers around 454.95 euros (around $500) there are a few slight differences though, like the European version will have the Intel Atom Variant, while in the US it comes with the VIA Nano Variant.

Toshiba have been busy working on the complete range of computers that it offers, but at the moment they have been adding some final touches to the Dynabook range, this the brand name of the Toshiba netbook range. The most significant change is the addition of a 128 Gb SSD; this gives the buyer the opportunity to get their hands on a netbook with high speed SSD without the expense of buying the Toshiba SS RX2.

The Lenovo online shop has put the 12″ IdeaPad pages up and therefore we are assuming that these little stars are available for home delivery as soon as the orders have been processed. This is a nice machine that promises to deliver a well rounded service to buyers.

Slim 12” from HiPhone

HiPhone is not the top of the range brand, like some others that have managed to weather the storm of financial woe. This is an ultra thin laptop with a twelve inch display, measuring just 22mm gives this pure white and very plastic looking computer some to talk about, otherwise it may not have been that exciting.

ASRock bringing out ION laptop

The ASRock machine is more or less the same as the other dual core Atom 330 CPU and NVIDIA ION chipset powered laptop from DosPara in Japan. Fans of AMD will be pleased to hear that HP are upgrading the twelve inch Pavilion dv2 mini laptop with a dual core AMD NEO processor and an integrated Radeon HD 3200 graphics chip. HP is due to announce this sometime this week, more details then!

The Pavilion dv2 from HP was one of the first laptops to sport the latest AMD processor, the Athlon Neo, it is supposed to compete with the Atom from Intel, but that is another question. What is interesting there are some serious prices cuts, the standard price being $750, but on Amazon, there is a $50 rebate being offered, yet that is not enough Staples are offering it for just $600.

L50 Netbook Review!

This is an offering from China it is brand new and as such we cannot comment on how good it is until we our hands on one, but the details are that it is the Minbo mini laptop L50. As you can see from the images that it is ultra thin, so thin in fact, that there is no VGA port instead so they have had to install a mini HDMI connector to a VGA connector.

Toshiba have released the latest Dynabook SS RX2/WAJ nothing cool about that, computer makers are bringing out new computers all of the time. So what is special about this one? It is the first laptop to be shipped with a 512 Gb SSD, but obviously, there is going to be a price to be paid.
