A new tablet has been launched in Japan, it is called the SHOGO and come from Red Star, the tablet is powered by the Freescale ARM iMX 37 processor and will be using Angstrom Linux as its operating system, with built in webkit based browser, media player as well as QT development.
These are the specs and features for the Red Star SHOGO tablet
10.1 inch multi-touch display, 1024 × 600 pixel resolution, Ethernet, Wi-Fi b/g, BT 2.0, SD card slot and a USB port. There is also a 2MP camera on its back. It weighs-in at 800gm and has a claimed battery life of 3-8 hours (depends on the usage)
Priced at around $670
