It seems that the early part of 2011 will be seeing a whole load of new tablets being launched such as the Galaxy Tab 2, the Apple iPad 2 and the Motorola XOOM, the later is expected within a couple of weeks and will be the first tablet to offer the Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system.
The Motorola XOOM tablet is expected to be offer the buyer a 10.1 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution that will support 1080p high definition video, powered by the Multi core ARM Cortex A9 CPU, 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core chip, Dual core SGX543 GPU, GSM/CDMA chipset, Front and rear facing cameras, SD card slot, running Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb and a 5 mega pixel camera
