Gigabyte updates the T1000 Touchnote

As other tablet makers launch new versions of their products, the Australian based Gigabyte have done the same with the launch of the T1005M this device will be using the 1.5 GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor.

The T1005M is hand piece of equipment at its can be used as traditional netbook or alternatively with a quick flip of the display it can become a tablet computer.

These are the known specs for the Gigabyte T1005M convertible tablet:

10.1 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel capacitive touch screen display, 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 320GB hard drive, Windows 7 Home Premium, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, has a HSDPA antenna built in (for an optional HSDPA module), 1 USB 3.0 port, 2 eSAA/USB ports, a 6 cell, 41Whr, 7650mAh battery, measures 10.4″ x 8.4″ x 1.6″ and weighs 3.3 pounds
