Dell have started to issue the Android 2.2 update for all of the consumers that are using a Dell Streak five inch tablet device, the company have as well as put the updated device up for sale on the firm’s website.
It looks like the white version of the device is only available from BestBuy currently, but the standard black and red versions are available but only with Android 1.6. This will of course be upgraded when the Dell update takes place.
Owners of the unlocked Streak outside of the US will also be receiving the update, as well as those users that are tied to contracts with carriers, it is believed that the whole complicated operation will be completed before the end of December.
