Coby launches the Kyros Tablet

The hand held tablet market has just got another competitor looking for a piece of the action, it is the Kyros seven inch tablet from Coby, it will be running the Android 2.1 operating system and will be powered by a 800 MHz ARM processor.

There is 4 GB of flash storage that can be expanded through the microSD slot, a big disappoint for buyers will be the lack of Google Apps Store access, instead they will have to make do with AppsLid the third party app store!

These are the features and details for the all new Kyros 7″ tablet from Coby;

7 inch resistive touch screen sports a 800 x 480 pixels resolution, powered by an ARM 1176 CPU running at 800 Mhz, with 4GB of Flash memory expandable up to 32GB, able to run Full HD, 1080p videos, built in IEEE 802.11 b/g modulem but no 3G, a mini HDMI port to watch videos on a widescreen HDTV. Other features include a 3.5 mm headphone, full-size USB port, a built-in speaker and finally a 3600mAh rechargeable Li-poly battery.

Priced at around $300
