When the new Asus Tablet was first spoken about, it carried an estimated price of around $600, which was considered to be far too high. Well now according to PC World, the device is due to be launched in October and will have a price tag of around $300, which is clearly much better and right in the ball park.
Here are some of the specs and features available for the Asus Eee Tablet:
8 inch, 1024 x 768 pixel touch screen LCD display with support for 64 shades of grey, run for about 10 hours on a charge and will run a version of Linux developed by Asus.
Priced at around $300 (we think!)
