Asus are said to be planning a tablet PC that will be running the Intel Core i5 central processing unit, this should be giving something for the producers of current tablets to think about, and because with Asus getting involved in this market they are bound to turn the market upside down and inside out while they are at it.
With the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV in second week of January 2011 looking as if it is going to be the tablet show, it seems that 2011 is set to become known as the year of the tablet PC.
Therefore, what are we looking at with Asus; first up we know that they will be introducing the tablet running the Intel Core i5 central processing unit. so this is not going to be lower end of the market, it looks as if Asus are aiming at the $1,000 to $1,200 sector with a launch in the US and Europe being nearer to the end of 2011.
