
Gigabyte has just launched their new M912V notebook. It features an 8.9 inch LCD touchscreen and lots of goodies. This might be one of the very first “mini-touch-notebooks” ever.
GIGABYTE Taiwan announced that its new notebook, the M912V, is now available. Our new notebook features a 8.9-Inch LCD touch swivel panel in 1280×768 resolution, 2.5” SATA HDD 160GB, 1GB of RAM, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz CPU, Express Card slot, the option for HSDPA expansion, built-in 1.3M pixels webcam, Wifi b/g, and a touch screen display can be rotated 180° to transform into a Tablet PC. It runs on Windows Vista Home, and should cost around 450€.

Did they get their swivel working, I had a notebook that broke because of it. As this is a great way to make use of a notebook in meetings, just the turn the screen. Actually would be great to have a double sided screen so i can see and the person opposite me. I just must have the option to turn the second screen on and off.
