Here’s Acer Aspire One Mini-notebook that should be ready to buy reaaaal soon.

The initial Aspire One 2.17-pound mini-laptop model is based on the Atom N270 CPU at 1.6GHz and the Intel 82945GMS chipset. The system has 512MB of main memory, and an 8GB solid state drive. The 8.9″ display has a resolution of 1024-by-600 pixels and LED backlight.

Looks like ASUS w/ Intel’s Montevina and AMD Puma processors have been leaked:

Based on the existing M51 and M70 lines, the M51VR will feature a 2.26GHz Penryn P8400 with 3MB of L2 cache on Montevina’s 1.06GHz bus, while the M51VA and M70VM (pictured) will get 2.53GHz T9400s with 6MB of cache. Looks like guys over at Gizmodo ran into Michael Dell and here’s a first and close-up look at the Dell Mini Inspiron that Dell’s working on.

Although the operating system used on it is unknown, it’s my guess that Dell put a Windows XP or Vista.  My hopes are for an XP but knowing Dell, I think they will probably try to stick a Vista in there.
