A short while ago the Japanese electronics manufacturer NEC were bringing some smart equipment, this included the NEC LaVie Light, this mini laptop would have been coming to the market very soon and there are probably a lot of people looking forward to that. In fact, this will not be happening now.
This is because NEC have been suffering from the economic crisis, they have had to make job cuts and other cost cutting plans one of which is the selling only in Japan rule, this means that no NEC equipment will be exported in the immediate future.
