For announcement from a large Japanese corporation such as NEC this one is not too spectacular but for consumers in the market for a new netbook made from NEC, it may be slightly interesting.
The NEC LaVie Light is WiMax enabled device that has had some of its spec changed only slightly in order to match the others on the market, the only problem is that the computer does not appear to be in line when it comes to price.
Some of the features and specs you can get with the NEC LaVie Light netbook:
Atom N470 (1.83Ghz), 2GB of RAM, 320GB of HDD, a 10.1 WXGA LED backlight monitor, Wi-Fi ABGN, SDXC and USB.
Priced at $762
