Many of us believed that the new HP netbook was going to be reasonably priced, by that we assume that it would cost around $400, but it seems that something has gone terribly wrong here somewhere because all of a sudden the new mini has a price tag of $749, although there is a lower model with a $599 price tag.
The only thing that seems the separate the models is the operating system; the basic model comes with Windows 7 Starter, while the rest of the range came with Windows 7 Professional installed.
Specs of the HP Mini HP 5102:
1.66GHz Atom N450 CPU, 4 cell battery, 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 2GB of RAM, 160GB 7200RPM HDD, 2MB webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and as this model comes with Windows XP Professional the price is $749!
